Only Watch is a biennial charity auction of luxury timepieces made by the finest watchmakers for research into Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. The auction which took place in Geneva on November 6 in collaboration with Christie’s, raised $32.1 Million this year. In 2019, Patek Phillippe “Grandmaster Chime 6300A” made history, selling for an astonishing $31 Million.
Still, it was once again Patek Philippe that came out with the biggest sale of the night this year. A highly complicated clock inspired by a desk clock delivered to James Ward Packard in 1923 – sold for $10.4 Million, reaching the fourth-highest price paid at auction for a timepiece.
