One of the highlights of the year, Luxury Week takes in various auctions that you can attend online or in-person between November 2 and December 14 in Geneva, London and New York. Unlike the name suggests, it comprises of a series of auctions organized by Sotheby’s and Christie’s that lasts longer than a week. Offering premium lots from watches to jewels, handbags to wine, Luxury Week kicked off in style with Only Watch in partnership with Christie’s in Geneva. Followed by Sotheby’s Fashion Through Time in Geneva, which included from rare Hermès Birkin and Kelly bags to Louis Vuitton x Kanye West neon-soled sneakers.
While Sothebys’ auctions ended with a bang where stunning jewellery shined bright in ‘Magnificent Jewels’, Christie’s will continue to organize few more auctions starting from November 17 in London and December in New York. Among one of the most anticipated pieces are a smorky quartz and diamond bangle by Belperron and an 1890 Louis Vuitton zinc Explorer trunk.
