The New Orient Express Hits The Tracks In 2023

A new Orient Express is ready to take passengers on a luxury odyssey from Italy to several European destinations in 2023, including Paris, Istanbul, and Split. Renderings of the 11-carriage train, inspired by the la dolce vita period of the 1960s, have been unveiled, revealing a plush interior that looks more like a boutique hotel than a railway car. Orient Express La Dolce Vita is to be made up of six trains, each featuring 12 deluxe cabins, 18 suites, an "Honour Suite" and a restaurant carriage offering a "five-star dining experience". The trains will travel across 14 regions and 131 cities around Italy, as well as from Rome to Paris, Istanbul and the Croatian port of Split, with trips lasting between one and three nights.

Geodesic Design For All Camping Conditions

If you’re a hard-core camper ready for extreme weather conditions, Heimplanet Mavericks is the right tent for you. Designed for some of the roughest camping conditions imaginable, the tent has an inflatable diamond structure forming a large geodesic dome capable of withstanding winds over 180 km per hour. Fast inflation means a single person can pitch the tent in just minutes, while convenient valves let you deflate the structure just as quickly. Offering space for up to 10 persons to sleep with equipment, Heimplanet Mavericks’ modular, double-layer air beams enable an easy and quick set-up. Inside, a chamber system provides weather and shock safety by separating the living space from the exterior structure and skin of the tent. Sections of the inflatable structure can be isolated for repair, so you never have to worry about losing your shelter during a trip. The American Institute of Architects calls the geodesic dome “the strongest, lightest, and most efficient means of enclosing space known to man.” Specifically designed for demanding expedition environments around the world, this tent will be your trusted companion even in the most extreme conditions.
